NRSC Is In Debt, Still Spending On Unresolved Elections

The National Republican Senatorial Committee racked up about $4 million in debt in the 2008 campaign cycle, in part because a close race in Georgia required a late infusion of $1.5 million to try to keep GOP Sen. Saxby Chambliss in office, NRSC Chairman John Ensign of Nevada said today.
