McDermott Endorses Obama
Politics. Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., endorsed the presidential bid of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., the Associated Press reported. McDermott said today he believes Obama will bring the nation together to achieve the kind of change needed to move the country forward. Obama won the state's February primary and caucuses.
