Using AvantGo's free software, you can download NationalJournal.com's daily roundup of political news -- congressional action, campaign updates and the latest in public opinion polls. All it takes is three easy steps:

• Go to AvantGo.com to download the software. (If you already have AvantGo software installed, go to step 2 below.) The process should take only a few minutes. AvantGo provides software for your handheld computer and a small Windows utility that is installed on your computer during the sign-up process to manage the channels to which you subscribe.

• Subscribe to the NationalJournal.com channel to get content designed for your palmtop.

• "Sync" your handheld computer -- This will download the latest political news. (NationalJournal.com's AvantGo channel is updated Monday-Friday at 4 p.m. Eastern time.)
